The World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold finished on Sunday at the ORLEN Copernicus Cup in Arena Toruń, eight meetings after it began in Boston on 24 January, and four weeks before the same hall hosts the World Indoor Championships.

Eliott Crestan of Belgium won the 800 m in 1:44.07, three days after his 1:43.91 meeting record in Liévin, from the Poles Maciej Wyderka, 1:44.30, and Filip Ostrowski, 1:44.72. It sealed the overall tour title in the event. Azeddine Habz of France won the men's 1500 m in 3:32.56 and Agathe Guillemot of France the women's in 4:00.64. Nigist Getachew of Ethiopia took the women's 800 m in 1:59.32.

Zaynab Dosso of Italy ran 6.99 for 60 m, a national record and a meeting record. Devynne Charlton of the Bahamas won the 60 m hurdles in 7.77, another meeting record. Emma Zapletalová of Slovakia ran 50.90 for 400 m. Sondre Guttormsen cleared 5.85 m in the pole vault and Joe Kovacs put the shot 21.92 m. Maria Żodzik jumped 1.98 m at home and Larissa Iapichino won the long jump with 6.72 m.

Eleven athletes won the tour's scoring events and with them a wild card for the World Indoors: Lieke Klaver, Birke Haylom, Charlton, Żodzik and Iapichino among the women; Ackeem Blake, Crestan, Tshepo Tshite, Guttormsen, Yasser Triki and Jordan Geist among the men.

A month of Sunday afternoons in tight, loud halls, ending in the one where the medals will be decided. The indoor season does not have a better build-up than that.
