It is one of the oldest 50Ks in the country and one of the few that pays: this year's purse was $4,000.
Will Murray, 31, won the men's race in 3:33:54. That puts him seventh on the course's all-time list, behind Adam Peterman's record of 3:24:07 from 2022, Francesco Puppi's 3:26:32 and Matt Daniels, and just ahead of Hayden Hawks and Max King from 2017. Noah Dusseau was second in 3:41:42 and Dylan Flewelling third in 3:42:41.
Andrea Lee won the women's race in 4:19:55. Jade Belzberg, who won last year, was second in 4:22:37, five seconds faster than her winning time in 2025 and still almost three minutes short. Sarah Paxson took third in 4:24:37. The women's course record, Jodee Adams-Moore's 4:01:23, has stood since 2013.
The same weekend had David Norris and Klaire Rhodes winning The Big Alta 50K in hot weather north of San Francisco, and Chianti in Italy. March is when the trail season stops being a rumour.
