The road you already have
Every running brand sells you somewhere else. The gravel road is a mile from your door.

Every running brand sells you somewhere else. The mountain. The track. The city at night with a club. The pitch is always that the real running is happening somewhere you are not.
Walk out of most front doors in this country and within a mile there is a road with no pavement on it. A farm road, a service road, a rail trail, a path along a field. Nobody photographs it. Nobody sells to it. It's just the road you already have.
That road is the point. It doesn't need a trip, a lift pass or a race entry. It needs shoes and a door. Gravel is the one surface that's free, everywhere, and quiet, and the industry has spent thirty years pretending it isn't there.
Run road. Run trail. Run the gravel in between. Mostly the in between.
